Because of the intangible nature of downloadable software, we do not give refunds for software purchases. However, we encourage customers to review our technical literature and to try our free evaluation software and demo applications (downloadable from our website) prior to purchase, in order to make an informed and confident buying decision.

Personal Checks: Peter Holmes Consulting Check Policy

For customers ordering our products, we encourage payment using our Website credit card processing system. The advantage of the automated system is that products are available immediately. In addition, transactions are protected using a secure server and data encryption, and the approval process is automated.

CVV2: Peter Holmes Consulting CVV2 Policy

The Card Verification Value 2 (CVV2) code provides customers with added credit card transaction security. The CVV2 code requires physical access to the credit card thus reducing the risk of Internet credit card fraud.

The CVV2 code is the three-digit code located after the credit card number on the signature strip of Visa and Master Card (see example above).

Password Saving : "Log me on automatically each visit" FAQ

What does "Log me on automatically each visit" Mean?

When you sign in with your account id and password, your browser can "remember" this information. Check the box and you won't have to sign in each time you come back. If you have not visited our site for too long, we may ask you to re-enter your password.

Very Important: You should always remember your HB++ password or write them down in a safe place. No Peter Holmes Consulting employee will ever ask you for your password, so please do not reveal it to anyone.

Should I check it?

If you are concerned that other people might accidentally or intentionally use your HB++ community password, do not check the "Remember my Email / Password" box. Be sure to close your browser when you leave your computer. This will ensure that the HB++ community site will prompt you for your account id and password the next time you visit our site.

Very Important: If you are using a shared computer (I.E. in a library, Internet cafe, university, airport or other common area) DO NOT check the "Remember my Email / Password" checkbox.

How can my computer "remember" the information?
